The calendar in Navis Ops gives you a month view of your scheduled events and task deadlines in one place. You can use it scoped to a single project — to see only what’s relevant to that project — or open the full workspace calendar to see everything across all projects. Tasks with due dates appear automatically alongside manually created events, so you always have a complete picture of what’s coming up.

Create a calendar event

1

Open the calendar

To open the workspace-wide calendar, click Calendar in the left sidebar. To open the project-scoped calendar, click into a project and select the Calendar tab.
2

Click a date or click New event

Click on any date in the month view to start creating an event for that day, or click New event in the toolbar.
3

Fill in the event details

Enter a title, confirm the date, and optionally add a description or time. If you’re on the project calendar, the event is linked to that project automatically.
4

Save

Click Save. The event appears on the calendar with a colored dot on its date.

Month view

The calendar displays one month at a time. Each day shows colored dots for events and task due dates. Click any day to expand it and see the full list of items for that date. Navigate between months using the ← Previous and Next → arrows in the calendar header. Click Today to jump back to the current month.
Month view is the only calendar view currently available. Day and week views may be added in future updates.

Tasks with due dates

Any task with a due date automatically appears on the calendar — you don’t need to do anything extra. Tasks show alongside calendar events on their due date, so you get a unified view of deadlines and scheduled work without managing two separate lists. Tasks on the calendar are visually distinct from events so you can tell them apart at a glance. Clicking a task in the calendar view opens the task detail panel.
If the calendar looks sparse, check whether your tasks have due dates set. Tasks without due dates don’t appear on the calendar.

Project calendar vs workspace calendar

The Calendar tab inside a project shows only the events and tasks belonging to that project. This is the right view when you want to focus on a single project’s schedule — reviewing sprint deadlines, checking milestones, or planning client deliverables.

Edit or delete an event

Click any event on the calendar to open its detail panel. From there you can update the title, date, description, or linked project. To delete an event, use the delete option in the event’s action menu.
Deleting a calendar event is permanent and does not go through Trash. Task due dates are managed on the task itself — removing a due date from a task removes it from the calendar without deleting the task.

The Calendar widget on the dashboard

The project dashboard includes a Calendar widget that shows a mini month view with event dots and a per-day event list. It’s a quick reference without navigating away from the Overview tab. To interact with the full calendar, click through to the project’s Calendar tab or open the sidebar Calendar.

Add the Calendar widget to your project dashboard for a quick month preview.

Tasks and due dates

Set due dates on tasks to have them appear automatically on the calendar.
